Programming learning platform for schools

BitWizards is a ready-to-use tool for teaching programming - no installation, no computer lab setup. Students write and run code in the browser, while you manage classes, track progress and run exams.

What the teacher gets

  • Classes and courses: you create classes, generate an invitation code for students and assign courses to a class.
  • Live view and work history: you see how a student writes code (replay) - it helps you understand where they got stuck.
  • 1-6 grading: the Polish scale with pluses and minuses, configurable, plus progress statistics.
  • Timed exams: time is tracked on the server (immune to clock changes) with anti-cheating signals.
  • Gradual topic release: reveal material at the pace of your lessons.

What the student gets

  • Learning in the browser: an editor, a console, a live page preview and a graphics mode in Python.
  • Step-by-step code execution and automatic task checking.
  • A demo mode without signing in to start right away.

Who it is for - from grades 4-6 to technical secondary school

  • Grades 4-6 (primary school): block-based programming
    • a visual start for the youngest learners. Courses are available now.
  • Grades 7-8 plus general high school and technical secondary school: programming in computer science classes covered 100% with us - computer science with programming is taught in every general high school and technical secondary school in Poland.
  • IT-focused technical secondary school: ready-made courses for INF.03 (the full qualification) and a large part of INF.04 (Polish vocational IT qualification exams).

Built for vocational exams

The materials cover the entire INF.03 qualification (websites, web applications and databases - HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, SQL/MySQL) and a large part of INF.04 (application programming - C++, Python, Java). You teach toward the real IT technician and software development technician qualifications - on ready-made materials, without building a course from scratch.

All technologies in one place

Frequently asked questions

Do students need to install anything?

No. Everything runs in the browser - on school computers, in the lab and at home. Python, JavaScript, PHP, C++ and HTML/CSS run locally, while Java, SQL and PHP with MySQL run safely on our server.

Can I see how a student writes code?

Yes. The teacher gets a live view of student work plus a full history of how the code was written (replay) - you see the whole solving process, not just the final result.

How does grading work?

On the Polish 1-6 grading scale (with pluses and minuses, configurable), plus progress statistics: how many gradable tasks a student has completed.

Can I run exams?

Yes. Exams have a time limit tracked on the server and anti-cheating signals (tab switching, window focus loss).
